What do you have to do?

Well in fact it is very simple. In this tutorial i want to get Aragorn followed by some Gondor Soldiers. This is what you have to do:

You go to aragorn.ini. Under the ART PARAMETERS put this:

Code

AddModule
Behavior = QueueProductionExitUpdate ModuleTag_11
UnitCreatePoint = X:0.0 Y:0.0 Z:0.0
NaturalRallyPoint = X:0.0 Y:0.0 Z:0.0
ExitDelay = 50
End
end

AddModule
Behavior = SpawnBehavior ModuleTag_SpawnFighters2
SpawnNumber = 10
InitialBurst = 10
SpawnTemplateName = GondorFighter
SpawnReplaceDelay = 1000
CanReclaimOrphans = Yes
End
End

after that go to gondorfighter.ini and put this under the ART PARAMETERS:

Code

Behavior = SlavedUpdate ModuleTag_Slave
GuardMaxRange = 350
GuardWanderRange = 80
UseSlaverAsControlForEvaObjectSightedEvents = Yes
end

Thats all! Now aragorn will be followed by 10 gondor soldiers.

Hope this helps you

It will attack anything in range.

Will the slave just run around aimlessly and attack anything in range, or will it attack the same thing your hero is attacking?

man_of_gondor - Tuesday March 2, 2010 - 12:36

Thanks for youre comment RB, its my first one so i know it is not so good. There is a reason why i diddnt add codeboxes. Simply, i dont know how to add them

A tip, use codeboxes to make it organised. And try to improve your spelling.

man_of_gondor - Saturday February 27, 2010 - 8:59

Yes, it could work for BFME1. But i do not mod that one so i am not sure

Spartan184 - Saturday February 27, 2010 - 6:56

This works for bfme1 to prob with a few tweaks. I need to test it out.

NOFX182 - Saturday February 27, 2010 - 4:16
