now on to your own commandset.ini. I will only take you through the steps of adding existing abilities to your hero, not new ones, as im still experimenting with that myself.

so open up commandset.ini and find the hero commandsets somewhere closer to the bottom of the page but not very close to the bottom.

Once you have found them, add this code after any End line in the code-

Code

CommandSet ElvenFingolfinCommandSet
1 = Command_ToggleStance
12 = Command_CaptureBuilding
13 = Command_AttackMove
14 = Command_Stop
16 = Command_SetStanceBattle
17 = Command_SetStanceAggressive
18 = Command_SetStanceHoldGround
End

This is a commandset with all the basic necessities any other hero has on their commandsets. Now lets say you want Fingolfin to be able to heal with athelas. Add this code to those lines-

Code

Command_SpecialAbilityAthelas

that may not be the exact code, but just add this for now. Now seems there are other heroes commandsets nearby, you can just take some of their abilities and add it to this. But for now lets move on.

When you have the commandset fully created, find the commandset reference in fingolfin.ini and replace the existing commandset with this-

Code

    CommandSet        = ElvenFingolfinCommandSet

That concludes commandsets. Move onto the next page for lotr.str references.

Now it works, but my hero is on Lvl 0 and can't use the powers.

Very nice guide, easy to follow. My only problem is using my new hero in WotR mode. I added the needed entry to Living World buildable units, but when I try to select the new hero after it is built from a fortress on the world map, the game crashes. Any ideas?

When i do this it says Error defining module 'W3DScriptedModelDraw' on thing template 'GondorFaramir'. The module 'W3DScriptedModelDraw' has the tag 'ModuleTag_DRAW' which must be unique amoung all modules for this object, but the model tag 'ModuleTag_DRAW' is also already on draw module 'W3DScriptedModelDraw' within this object.

Please make unique tag names with an object definition.

What can i do?
