We're going to edit the layers we have just made into a new form, but we need to keep them as they are in their current state so save a copy of the psd document. In the new copy, invert the background layer (Image>Adjustments>Invert) Change each of the three weapons to colour ADB0AD - This is done in the same way we changed them to white earlier, double-click the colour box in the layers palette. Once you've done that it should look like this: Press Ctrl-A to select everything, and Ctrl-Shift-C to copy the layers merged. Open up the original document again (the white one) which we saved earlier. Click onto the channels tab (next to the layers tab at the top of the layer palette) Click to create an alpha channel (Named Alpha 1 by default, Don't change this) Select this layer, and press Ctrl-V to paste in our other document from the clipboard. And we're done. Save the file as a .psd and open up the dds converter tool. I won't go into how to use this here, if you don't know, go here to download it http://www.the3rdage.net/item-49?addview it's pretty self-explanatory. Convert the file to .dds, making sure that the save alpha channel option is ticked (should be on by default). Here's a screen of the decal we just made ingame: (it fades in and out, caught this screen on the fade out, so its not at maximum brightness) Hope this helped, feel free to post any questions.
